I have this 1969 proof set and decided to check it for errors. On the nickel it appears to have a die chip on the S and these are the best photos I can take. The set is still sealed in the plastic case so I don't want to take it out to examine better.
Am I right about this and if so, any idea on a value?

could be die chips, but the close up is way too pixelated to be sure.

Just cropping an existing image to enlarge a particular area will create these pixelated images - and for the most part, are useless.

You need to use the zoom function on your phone BEFORE you take the picture, or better yet, use a microscope to get nice close-up images.

Looks like a small die chip, better closeup would verify this but a
die chip is not an error and adds no value to the coin.

Can't say for sure with the pixilated close up image. Even if it was a die chip that would not be an error and adds no value.

Can't tell what's going on. Might be a Die Chip, but we'll need better close up pictures to tell.

Interesting. Difficult to tell what it is and I fear you will do any better with photos as long as the coin is in the lens. If you want to keep it intact, keep it intact. The only value in knowing what you are seeing is knowing what you are seeing.
