I have this 1969 proof set and decided to check it for errors. On the nickel it appears to have a die chip on the S and these are the best photos I can take. The set is still sealed in the plastic case so I don't want to take it out to examine better. Am I right about this and if so, any idea on a value?
Interesting. Difficult to tell what it is and I fear you will do any better with photos as long as the coin is in the lens. If you want to keep it intact, keep it intact. The only value in knowing what you are seeing is knowing what you are seeing.
