1937 Buffalo Nickel No Mint Mark Piece Missing From Side

It would help us to help you going forward if you crop your photos to remove the unnecessary background and show the coin larger. At first glance I thought that you may have a clipped planchet but after looking at the photo of the edge, I see there are three different semi circles, a clip would not show that so I am saying it is damage of some sort.
