JohnWayne007 Pillar of the Community Canada 1186 Posts	Posted 01/15/2026 03:27 am Nice find, that is the 1951 DDO T2 from my book just in circulated condition making it pop more. The. image I provided below are of a higher grade example of the one in my book. The one Ken Potter wrote about and photographed has the doubled letters going N/E on the right side of the letters, while the Type 2 I wrote about has the doubled letters going N/W on the left side. You can find images of Ken Potters 1951 1 Cent Type 1 DDO in the back of the Charlton 70th edition. When there is a decent doubled die, it sticks out way more on circulated examples compared to MS examples due to contrast, toning etc. Finding and discovering modern Canadian doubled die varieties since 2018. 2023 Recent Publications: Modern Canadian Doubled Die Varieties - First Edition PDF & Paperback https://www.mcddv.ca (website currently down for maintenance as of 08/01/2024) Report this Post to the Staff
