Hello, CCF. This is another recent raw CC Morgan that I picked up. It does have a very small rim ding on the reverse edge below the eagle. From what I see, I don't think this would detail it. For the price paid, I wouldn't care if it did. Spinning it around under a light, there is still some luster to be seen through the toning and surface grime.

What are your thoughts on this one grade wise, detail or not?

Well, I think it makes 40. In taking a closer look at these pics, the focus is off. For example, some of the wheat kernels on the left side of each stalk, or whatever they are called, show separation between the kernels but that doesn't show in the pics I posted, just blurred together.

the small rim ding is not sufficient to details this coin. after a second look at her, she could have been improperly stored for a while or even might have been a dug coin at some point, cleaned and re-toned. the botchy toning and embedded dirt in the devices lead me to believe that. I would acetone soak this one as I think some of this would be lifted. I do think she passes but just wanted to throw that out
