Hello,

I have grown tired of looking at the details coins I have in my collection. They are high values even in details conditions e.g. 1890-CC unc-details stained or 1864-L unc-details cleaned etc. They are not thrashed but are "problem" coins.

I have become annoyed with ebay in the past year or so and I've had decent luck with GC with straight-graded coins. Has anyone had any experience selling details coins on their platform?

Thanks!

I see "Details" coins all of the time on GC - I have even bid and won a few that the damage is very hard to see. The prices of details coins are pretty good - not much of a drop from a straight grade coins in the same condition. Especially if it is a desired date or type coin.

Great Collections will auction any coin in a PCGS or NGC holder regardless of grade or designation.

Best of wishes in converting these problem coins into cash to purchase better coins.
