As we know it, retail prices on the 2026 Red Book are already outdated because of how high gold and silver have gotten.

I'm trying to decide whether to subscribe to Whitman's Red Book Quarterly or CoinWorld Trends for up-to-date coin dealer retail pricing. I come across US classic coinage of all denominations, most often Morgan dollars, though I also see the odd certified bullion stuff (blah). Opinions on which publication is more widely used, acceptable in, and/or accurate to the US marketplace? The cost of subscribing to either one or both will not be a factor in my decision.
Also, how do their prices compare versus the PCGS or NGC Price Guides online? Higher, lower, same, as compared to RQ and CoinWorld? I find NGC's price guide to be generally higher than PCGS's for the same grade, though not always.

Krause's Numismaster is an option, but I would much prefer something more specific and detailed when it comes to US coins and paper. I don't need the world price guides it comes with; I have access to the most recent/last editions of Krause, and others can be looked up in the NGC or PMG price guides.

I also need an updated US paper money catalogue. Both Krause and Whitman print their own version, but is there a different publication that gives a more granular price breakdown than just two prices (VF and UNC63--why 63 and not 60?)? If not, I will have to stick with these.

I have access to the Numismatic News and Bank Note Reporter magazines (both previously owned by Krause, but now owned by Active Interest Media, which I have never heard of), free of charge from my library. How in line are the prices here compared to the others? If they are fine then I might make a copy of their trends to use for pricing, though again, I would prefer something with more granular pricing for paper.

If we have coin dealers in our CCF membership, your opinions would be much appreciated.

Help a Canadian out... Thanks

Thanks jbuck, appreciated. I guess this is a very specialised question.
