I was hoping to cherry pick this but it went from $4 to $115 today with 21 hours still to go. Its getting to the range where I have to pass.

I really wanted this one but I'm expecting it to go up a lot more. ZAI was hoping people would skip looking at it because it was listed as an uncirculated 1972 cent.

It went for less than I thought it would, $140 plus buyer premium so about $165. It killed me not to bid on it but I'm trying to be practical.

A pretty fair price. And I don't know if "practical" and "coin collecting" belong in the same sentence!

I actually found it reasonable too as I think it is worth quite a bit more but I would want to send it to a TPG as well.

Right - but with a coin like that you can just send it to ANACS - it's mostly to get it verified as genuine. You aren't trying to get a MS66 over a MS65.
