Hello

This coin looks like dirham from Seljuq's Rum, at least the letters look like from my other Seljuq coin.

This is piece is 2.87g and 19mm. The problem is that I'm struggling with finding a reference. Maybe it's not a Seljuq coin after all?

Thank You in advance.

It looks like one of the Crusader imitative dirhams from Damascus, so it's probably either that or one of the original Ayyubid coins they're imitating.

Perhaps something like Zeno 356518; it looks similar but my knowledge of Arabic is not even close to enough to tell whether the legend match.

EDIT: forgot to mention initially, but both pictures are upside down.

Thanks for a ref and for mentioning the incorrect image rotation. I'm uploading it again.

The Zeno reference looks pretty close. I hope that this is indeed a Crusader imitation as I'd like to have an example of Christian imitation of a Muslim coin.

Could someone take a fresh look at this coin, please? It looks like a crusader's imitation or an original Ayyubid coin as per hint from 'january1may'.

I hope someone shows up with a reading of the actual Arabic text. It doesn't match any of the Saladin dirhams on Zeno to me (and is a lot closer to the coins I linked, of al-Salih Isma'il, half a century later).

Unfortunately I'm not even close to good enough on Arabic to even figure out which part is the ruler's name, never mind which ruler it is.
