I wonder with the sky rocketing prices of gold and silver do dealers have enough cash flow to keep up with this fast moving market? Has the risk of doing business gone up too?

Interesting thought. Just remember, even though it costs more for silver and gold coin inventories - they are also selling for higher prices so I think it's a washout - business as usual just at higher prices.

I wouldn't say high price is better for business.

There is an interesting video on youtube

I'm not in that business, but I would guess that as long as prices keep going up, all is hunky-dory.
But that yes, a quick drop would be unwelcome ...

I am inclined to believe that with the surge in PM's, fewer people are able to afford them. People are struggling just to survive day to day and younger generations have little interest in this sort of thing. It's going to be a supply and demand issue. I don't see a great demand in the future for purchasing but there will be an influx of those wishing to sell what holdings they have. I fear that many of the Mom and Pop brick and mortar stores will feel the hurt and may go out of business.

I am thinking with the herd mentality buying and selling directions can change so fast so as to freeze the business momentarily. For example when silver hit $90 I am sure there was a flash flood of people wanting to sell fast while at the same time buyers vanished leaving smaller dealers in a no cash gap.
