Coin has definitely seen better days as I think this one spent most of it's time since leaving the Mint in the ground
Can't make out the date even under a loupe. I'm guessing 1802 or 1803.
I'm referring to the raised metal showing on the reverse on upper part, just below in the wreath, and in the fraction area. Just getting some other opinions. The corrosion is on top of these "lumps" so I know they were probably caused at the Mint.

1802 S-233 and the lumps are just areas of heavier corrosion.
