Out of curiosity does the 1852 Seated Liberty dime have a off sized planchet error? Just got one that looks smaller than the others.

Can you measure with dial calipers? or at least a side by side pictures of a so called "normal" sized dime?

A trime is about 1mm smaller.
Never heard of Half Dime struck on a Three Cent planchet though.
