Is this the error that collectors have been looking for ? I know there was a double die on the g and t but I think this was the start of that error look closely I attached 2 pics one is so you can see the pack and the other is still in plastic while zoomed in 1200X does this look what I think it is ?

No DDO there.
A doubled die is not an error, and is not progressive.
Your coin is damaged and was struck by a well worn die.
The dollar, half, quarter, and dime in your set are 80% silver. That's where the value in these common sets is.

PS The DDO you're thinking of is found on business strike coins, not on PL coins
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

As DBM stated, just a damaged coin. Probably been struck
with something after it was packaged.
Still worth its weight in silver though.
