Hello

My assumption is that this small silver coin is an akce of Murad I.

https://en.numista.com/80888 looks like nice ref.... however one thing is puzzling me. My coin is 1.2g while the ref's weight is 0.7g instead of. It's pretty big difference when dealing such light coins.

Could somebody give me a hint if it's possible that coins could be struck with such big difference in weight?

@numi, is the diameter correct (should be about 12 mm)? If so, could you please do a specific density test to see if it is made from silver? Thx.

Your coin is OK: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=12949649

One small flaw in Numista is that the person who enters the coin can use the weight they measure on their example, and not what is typical.

This listing will be has been edited to reflect the weight that appears more often. (the 10 most recent examples found on acsearch averaged 1.13 gr.)
