Murad I - Is This Akce - Weight Difference

NumiFan Valued Member Poland 136 Posts	Posted 02/06/2026 11:10 am Hello My assumption is that this small silver coin is an akce of Murad I. https://en.numista.com/80888 looks like nice ref.... however one thing is puzzling me. My coin is 1.2g while the ref's weight is 0.7g instead of. It's pretty big difference when dealing such light coins. Could somebody give me a hint if it's possible that coins could be struck with such big difference in weight? Report this Post to the Staff

If so, could you please do a specific density test to see if it is made from silver? Thx. This listing ~~will be~~ has been edited to reflect the weight that appears more often. (the 10 most recent examples found on acsearch averaged 1.13 gr.)
