I agree, but will add that both sides appear to be stained.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.

How does the edge look? 1.44 g is quite light for a clad dime.

A 1965 clad dime should weigh 2.27g
But it seems to be struck up nicely, and I can see the reeded edge

What type of scale are you using?

Also I agree that it is stained this yellow color.
