I recently purchased a roll of war time nickels - I have not received them yet and should have them by tomorrow (I'm hoping). I think I got a really good deal on ebay I guess I will not really know until I have them in my hand. What do you think?

If I can find them for under a buck, I buy and hoard all I can. I think that's a great deal at $27.45 shipped.

That is a good price. Current melt value is about $0.80 each.

I think you did well, these are nice coins to hoard and just collect to have around, being for being 65+ years old.....As a kid I always loved to see the large Mint mark on the reverse, when I got change back from a sale. AHHH The simpler days.......
