This is my first foray into the World Coin forum of Coin Community. Please be gentle.
I am clueless about grading an aluminum/bronze coin. Would appreciate any thoughts. Thank you. (apologies in advance for the poor photography.)

I'm thinking in the high EF range. There's a bit of wear on the devices and some environmental staining.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Thank you. Was working with Morgans for a while. I was spoiled. Clad coins kinda hurt my eyes now.

Agree, though probably the coin looks nicer in hand than in the photos.
Franco's hair is missing details, the legend on the ribbon in the eagle's beak is not so clear, etc.

EF-45 would be my guess.
