Well, I have been waiting on these to be graded for a while as I waited to build some "raw" backlog and a couple of re-holders

The first two coins were to be reholdered after NGC messed up the first time

1) Salzburg 1682 (was mistyped as 1628) in prior submission

2) Salzburg 1632 - Was not alligned in the holder and came back the same way this time around - Arrrghhh !

New Acquisitions:

3) VERY RARE 1745 Salzburg Taler (800 minted) - came back AU-55, thought it may have some upside

4) Salzburg 1628 Cathedral Taler - Thanks Brent (wcg) !

5) Olmutz 1721 Taler - they crammed this 46mm coin into a small holder - frustrating

Other fabulous Palestine item in separate post.

2 Were not graded due to "improper cleaning". I will keep raw as they are nice.

Have to admit I know absolutely nothing about these coins, but they are stunning! Super coins, Zohar!

Truly magnificent coins! A feast for the eye. Really beautiful pieces. Although, of course, I would have preferred them without the encumbrance of NGS coin holders myself. I understand that these are popular in the USA but I do not quite understand why.

Do the grading company take responsibility for these errors? Did you have to pay twice for the misaligned coin or was the second (and upcoming third) slabbing done on the house?

Grading companies do take responsibility and will absorb shipping and re-holder costs. Its a matter of time and risk in shipping.
