Hey everyone,
I'm looking for help verifying a 1982-D Small Date penny that's weighing in at 3.10 grams on a 0.01g scale.

Here's what I've confirmed so far:

- Mint mark: D
- Date style: Small Date (thin "2," aligned tops on 8 and 2, tall "1")
- Weight: 3.10 g (consistent with copper)
- Appearance: Copper color, clean strike, strong details
- Rim and spacing: Look normal and even
- No signs of damage, plating, or alterations

I know the ultra-rare variety is the 1982-D Small Date copper, so I'm trying to figure out whether this coin matches the known characteristics or if it's just a normal copper strike.

I've attached clear photos of:
- The date
- The mint mark
- The full obverse and reverse
- The scale reading

Any expert opinions or die-marker guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, that's a large date.

Going by the numbers is the hardest wayto tell the difference,
just go by the spacing of the 2 from the rim. If it is close to the rim,
it is a Large Date, if you can fit another number between the 2 and
the rim, it is a Small Date. Yours is clearly a LargeDate.

To CCF! It's the Large Date cent. Worth face value.
