Greetings.
1915 Half Dollar Jeton, Ketone, or Counterfeit Coin.
I bought this coin, or whatever it is, a while ago.
I bought it because it's very pretty, although the photos don't do it justice.

It is a counterfeit of an original 50 cent commemorative coin
and a poor one at that.

An interesting piece, but I am doubtful that it is made from silver. Assuming that a magnet isn't attracted to it, I wonder if you could measure the specific gravity.

The strange thing is that it weighs and measures the same as a Barber.

Doesn't matter if it weighs and measures the same, it is still a counterfeit.

I bought it a few years ago thinking it was one of those souvenir coins they display at fairs, or a token.
And it's beautiful, and I have it in my collection. Thank you all very much.
