Sometimes a coin will get stuck in a direct fit Air-Tite capsule

I watched videos of people prying them out with metal tool or breaking the capsule to get the coin out

I just hold the rim of the capsule and smack my hand on a hard surface and use inertia to free the coin

Thanks for sharing. With a knife I work my way around the whole capsule so one half comes off more gently. I once rushed it, the capsule cracked.

This is for a coin that is stuck in the direct fit half of the capsule.

In the begining of the video you can see that I use an Exacto knife to seperate the capsule, then it take 3 hits to free the stuck quarter.

On larger coins it takes less hits because they weigh more.
