Has anyone found the new loon , the one for collectors that has die cracks and a small die chip.

You can just see die cracks going from the N to the A and on the D

On the date you have a faint die chip on the left side of the 0 and die cracks top and bottom of the 0

I found 10 of these in a roll so it must be a common thing.

Yes, I found a few as well. Total of 16 in 4 rolls.

These ones show die cracks on the D and X on the obverse and the die die crack like yours, but with a more pronounced die chip on the bottom of the 2 of the date.

Not necessarily. If they came off the press together they might have had correlated distribution... i.e. there were common in that roll but not overall.

For example, a lot of the famous 1955 US double die pennies were found in the same area of the US and used for change in cigarette vending machines since a large part of that batch was sent there. If you got a couple from the machines back to back, you might have thought it was common ... But in the overall population, it was quite rare.

Nice example. The date might be showing Machine Doubling as well.

Update on my post, I finally got to put the coins in 2x2's and on do so checked them all again and I ended up with 10 without a die crack or die chip. So just 10 out of 25 that are good so to speak.
