so the interwebs tell me that satin finish on quarters was only 2005-2010(mint sets) but that it's very possible to find a Philly satin in the wild... however there are NO videos that compare a satin finish with a non-satin finish other than already slabbed coins which make it impossible to tell the difference!
Can someone help me with this? I've got a number of quarters in this 6 year period that look like they could be Satin? or not wear but maybe just aging of coin?
How to tell the difference between aging and actual satin finish?
here's my reference, again not great without a video... but the coin on the right is shiny with luster (windmill pattern) the left is dull but still has luster (but no windmill)
