Maybe it's just me but I find that this series is the hardest to grade. Is this series full of mushy strikes that dont' show the gems in the crown that you look for in an EF or better coin? Do you also have a problem in grading these coins?

Colhand,it's not just you.Coins in this series are notorious for weak strikes. They seem to be very difficult to grade in EF and AU.

What I could use is a list of the dates that are generally weak. I have seen coins with luster that I would definitely have a hard time at grading a VF let alone the grades that I have seen assigned to them. I also look for details on the King's sash. Am I being too picky?

I totally agree. Its very difficult to nail down good grades of those coins.
