Hello,

I need some expert advice on what is happening? Below the cent is weird. Its not sanded down or scrape on the floor. Is that a die chip as golden earrings? Do you see other issues on this coin? let me know! Thanks

The "earring" is a small die chip.
Underneath the cent has been ground down
or else how would the rim be missing. It is PMD.

I really feel like it's not grounded down. Because the color of the coin is the same color where it's start to tilt over. If it was grounded down then you should be able to see scratch marks and changes of color?

That's because it wasn't "ground down" - that's a hit from something and the metal was flattened.

looks like it could be a depressed zinc bubble. and the rim looks like it was hit by a hammer or some other implement.

It doesn't really matter what caused the damage, it could not have happened when the coin was struck so it PMD.
