i am not sure what this is I can't find it in any books can someone tell me and give me a value if any. it is encased in one of those hard holders on the holder it says collectors item hong kong $100.

I dont even think this was a Royal Canadian Mint issued coin. Wheres the queen on the obverse?

i don't think it was issued by the mint either. I have no clue what it is

looking around, and I cannot find it either.
Why not post it to the Identification: Unidentified Coins, Medals, and Tokens forum and see if anyone there can help. They are excellent, and have helped me figure out a few coins.

The "front" of it is a copy of the "Sailing in Kingston" coin that was actually issued, but with some differences:

Montreal-Canada-1976-Olympic-Coin

As far as the "back" is concerned, it is nothing like anything that was issued by the RCM. The figures look amateurish, and the Olympic rings are even upside down.

I'm thinking that this was some sort of unauthorized souvenir coin or even bullion masquerading as a real coin.
