Look what I found in my wife's tip jar today.
According to info I've found, there was only about 56,000 of these made, and now I've got one (and it didn't cost me anything).

Thats pretty neat find, I have found a few proof coins in circulation, for a while I thought the mint might be dumping coins for sets that did'nt meet standards into general ciculation but since have fiqured out its just someone breaking them out of sets and spending them.

I totally agree; economy is really getting tough here in Windsor, Ont., Canada's auto capital. I have been getting quite a few coins lately, including two 2000P nickels, and a 1920 penny last week. Lots of people breaking up sets. Coin group auctions here hardly sell, as no-one is buying.

But I am so happy I found this one.

rikcando, I live in the Windsor-Essex County area also (Kingsville) and where I work at there are people who are always giving me interesting or older coins they come across and as of late it has been increasing in frequency. Lot of older dates and a ton of wheaties.

Yes, the 'W' is for Winnipeg, and the 'P' is for plated.
As far as I know, the 'W' was only used in 2003 (like this one) and in 1998 (with no 'P' as it was not plated).
