I just downloaded the program and I like it! I just have a question. I am trying to inventory my Colonial coins. I am having trouble since the Colonials I have are not listed in the pull down. I put all info in the first tab, second tab, and then insert my pictures in the third tab. Then what? OK, apply? I push the OK button and the listing disappears. What am I doing wrong Any advice would be great! Thanks.

I started using it about 6 months ago. Really liked it at first. It appears that they do not update the software except once a year, so I cannot enter my recently purchased 2009 sets (or I havent been able to figure out how to do it). My real problem with the software is that I have emailed customer service on three occassions with questions and they have not responded. Poor customer service really turns me off. Clearly some of the problem may be with me, but I am looking at other software. I know this does not really answer your question, but I thought I would weigh in.

Similar problem here, poor response time , but the program is pretty good overall and the price is good. Have you tried the blog they have I think the answer may be there. They do limit the current year or at least they don't make it easy. The older versions did not let you add varieties the newer one does but again it is awkward. I find it workable the format is pretty good if they add features along with the updates and tweak the program I'll stick to it.
Let me know what you find.
Vermontensium see if you find their blog if you have a problem,I will post a link here.

I have it too. the customer service is non existent and when you do get hold of someone they give you a canned response that don't mean anything at all.they sent me two COA's with it though lol but I cant even give it away. that's bad.
I would go back to paper before I spent another dime with this group of rip offs

During my period of testing different programs I had downloaded CM2008 and played with it. Shortly after CM2009 was released so I downloaded it and attempted to go through the automatic database upgrade process. It started adding / modifying tables in the access database it used and then failed with things about table not found, etc. Upon my attempt to run the CM2009 (the files were updated first) it wouldn't start anymore reporting that tables were missing.

I decided there that I wasn't going to spend money for that program when updating a database with maybe 3 coins in it fails.

use it every day to inventory modern coins It has a lot of limitations and quirks but does a good job on invantory.

I should have researched more before I bought it. I am sure there are better programs out there.

A good post and hope someone posts a better product here
