I saw it immediately as soon as the cashier opened the till. I asked if I could buy them
From her. There were 15 total Kennedy's half dollars and for what I could see, a few of them were silver. Turned out to be 3 total of the 40% silver in nature. Two 1967s and one 1968. I Can't believe someone is still spending these. But one thing I knew for sure, is there was no way they have been searched for any errors at all considering the nature of the 3 that were used as just 50 cents.
So after I got home, I got out my loop and began to see if I got even more luckier than I would have assumed. I'm perplexed unfortunately. I've always had issues trying to determine between
Machine Doubling and error doubling on some coins. I believe these are actually
Machine Doubling but wanted to put them out there just in case I'm wrong again. I would hope I am wrong considering what it would mean that I actually did find. Lol
Thanks for your help!
Al
Oh and P.S. the last photo is of the 1967 Reverse which I'm 100% certain is
Machine Doubling on the E & D in United, yes?
