Hi all, nice to meet you, I made an account just to ask this question. I got paid in some Presidential dollar coins recently, and I was examining them because I'd never seen one before when I noticed the inscription on the edge of one of them is upside down. I'm not a coin collector myself and I don't know anything about the hobby, so I wanted to ask the experts if it's worth anything. Thank you for your time.

To CCF! It's normal. Worth face value. It's a variety, but there's not really any added value, if any. https://www.smalldollars.com/dollar/page33.html

the rim embossing is a 50/50 chance of ending up in the collar up right or upside-down.

we now call them varieties ('A' and 'B')
