A few times when I've been sent coins, they've arrived packaged between 2 layers of corrugated cardboard that just peel apart & is tacky inside. Although it holds the coins in place, it doesn't stick to the coins & leaves no marks. It can be re-used many times.

Can anybody please tell me what this product is called, where it's available, sizes available and cost? An Interent link for all this info will suffice.

Thanking you in anticipation! Nancyc

www.safetmailer.com

Its a SafeTMailer. They are AWESOME. Any coin supply outfit on the net will have them. They come from Brooklyn, NY - like your humble correspondent! (Originally, that is, I live in the sticks now :\)

I get mine from Cheshire Mailers. The main downside is that you have to order in quantity so unless you need a few hundred, that is not a good route to go. The last case I got was half and half #6 and #10.

Thanks Richard. I really asked for another Aussie as I explianed them to him & he was very interested in them. I sent him the links to the 2 sites mentioned above, so he can order some.

Having said that, I wouln't mind getting hold of some, as I think they are excellent. I've never seen them here in OZ, so if you can get me say 15 each of the 2 sizes, send them over & I'll Paypal all costs to you.

oh man I have stacks of these things from when I was spending all my money on coins (now its the project car my son and I are working on together) in all different sizes. I just saved them all in case I was to sell any of my coins I could reuse them to protect the coins/slabs and also so it would be harder for anyone handling the package to figure out what was actually inside
Rest in Peace

Nancy, I also have some. They are left over from a medal mailing.

I have your address and will send them IF I can find where I stored them.

I plan to take a sample to my local coin store & give him the 2 US sites from the above posts. He might consider getting some for re-sale, but freight costs may make it too costly. After all, there's got to be a little something in it for him.
