Hello!

I was going through my family's coins and found this one. It's seemingly in great condition. The scratches are on the case, I believe.

Any idea of the value?

Also, please let me know if you think it's fake.

I'm very uninformed when it comes to coins. You guys just seemed like a great group of people to ask.

This is a common capped but half, 5 million minted. Condition is everything. I'd suggest you take it out of this plastic case and provide us with photos of both the obverse and reverse. Guesstimating on what I see in this photo, worth probably $150 to $250.

And it is real.

I couldn't figure out how to reply directly to you, Adam. Thank you sir.

I don't want to take it out and mess it up since it's my mother's coin hahaha.

How about this one? It's worse condition.

I was hoping the other one might be worth a good bit! Hahaha just like everyone else I guess. It's hard to find proper values online. Some prices were ridiculous. What would one of the best condition be worth?

Jack, we need pictures of both sides of any coin to give a good estimate on grade and value. Also, the general rule for posting in this forum is one coin per post.

Oh, sorry.

I couldn't figure out how to add two pictures to a single post.

What would the top condition of the 1835 liberty be worth?

That's because you are not supposed to do that - ONE coin per post!

Sorry Marv. I just didn't and still kinda don't understand how I'm supposed to show both sides of a coin if I can only have 1 picture.

What marv is saying, is one coin per topic.
You should start a new topic for your Morgan dollar
And show both sides of the coin
