I recently acquired a 1787-1987 U.S Constitution Anniversary 1 lb. round, .999 silver. It is a copy of the one ounce coin commerating the anniversary. It is not in a mint box and no coa. came in a wooden box with an ocean liner etched/burnt on the front. does anybody know anything about this round? thanks!
I have a simular 1 troy pound walking liberty that was minted from somewhere, I have no idea where. it is basically just a bullion coin worth the weight of the silver content a troy pound is 12 ounces not 16 like you would see in alot of ebay auctions claiming a troy pound is. I do not have the coin you are refering to but it is probably the same type of coin by franklin mint or National Collectors Mint or some other privately owned mint like them since I have never heard of the US mint minting a one pound coin (not saying they havent just I have never seen one)
