Hi,

I have this Continental Sterling Henry III Imitation Penny but I'm not sure if it can be narrowed down any more. I've scanned the excellent "https://sterlingimitations.com/" but can't seem to locate it.

The obverse lettering seems to be ?EVST?RV? Perhaps just a corruption of hENRICVS REX by an engraver who didn't quite understand what he was copying
The reverse has "ON LVND" quite clearly - but the preceding letters are not clear - perhaps a corruption of NICOLE

I do like these Sterling imitations.
