This coin was graded by ACG (I know, I know). I keep changing my mind about what grade it really is, so help me out. Grade the coin based on the pics then click on the link below to see what grade ACG gave it.

P.S. Those things that look like rim dings on the reverse are part of the plastic holder, not the coin.

Going by the images only, I'd say MS-63 to MS-64. Of course, images can either exaggerate minor blemishes or hide them. Nice looking Morgan.

Am posting this before checking ACG's grade and will go back to see what ACG actually gave it.
Rest in Peace

I haven't looked at ACG's grade yet either but agree that, from the images, it looks like a nice MS64.

Maybe they're actually tightening up their standards and trying to be a real TPG. Those lawsuits had to be getting costly for them...

I bought this coin back in 2001 so I guess their standards are getting worse! If SGS graded this it would be a solid MS67, maybe even a MS67 DMPL.

I'd believe that coin in an MS65 holder. Wouldn't give MS65 money for it, but it's a strong 64.
