7. Just saw a group of nickels in a plastic holder with a staples in the center to keep them from hitting each other or for some kind of attractive display.

Sellers who are flat-out lying- i.e., "KEY DATE!!" when the coin has the second-highest mintage for the series.

Anything prominently displayed in a "basement grader" slab- especially SGS!

My biggest are the one side pictures, and slabs by companies I have never heard of, and Know of no one else who has either. I also love the "O" Peace dollars.

I actually like going through the SGS coins. Everyone avoids them like the plague, and there are some bargains in there. Just make sure you are paying based on the actual coin grade, not the one on the slab. Note that this also requires good photos.
