JoJax and GGC are well know for this type of thing,, This coin will not be worth nor grade any where near what is advertised.

MS-65 1955-S by RedBook is about 2.00 Having only an obverse pic and that of very poor quality or size ,, no way can a grade estimate be determined for this coin. Rick

Jojax and other scammers on ebay use the price of top pop PCGS registry coins in that actual grade. The problem is that it is a false comparison because a PCGS MS68RD probably would have a price tag of 13k but it probably has a population of 5 or less. Guys like this take an average uncirculated grade Lincoln worth probably a buck or two and then put it in a slab in their mom's basement. Then they put some arbitrarily high grade on it, and try to hype their sale on ebay like it it actually in that grade when it is more than likely 5-10 points lower.

Laxmaster, there's only three third-party grading services that can be trusted to come within the ballpark of an accurate grade: ANACS, PCGS, and NGC with ICG not too far behind. Until your grading experience is honed, trust NO other so-called grading company to give even an approximate grade and presume that many or most of the coins so encapsulated have been altered to some degree or otherwise misrepresented. Most are, as stated above, simply basement type operations to hype a coin. At the winning bid of $4.45, the buyer paid probably double, possibly triple or more what the cent is actually worth. Gallery Grading Service is a fake grading company, it's only purpose for existence being to fraudulently take naive buyers' money.

laxmaster, if you search "gallery" in the 'subject only" and tic the "archived posts" in the search in line, you'll find several threads in Gallery grading and jojax. Don

This "Third Party Grader" never seems to give a grade under MS-67 for anything.

And all of gallery's frankies are FBL. all of them. and all of his roosies are Fb-all of them. He has 3, count them 3, 1955-s lincs GGC graded at MS68 RD. Quite a coup, since the TOTAL number of these valuable coins graded MS68 by NGC and PCGS is-1. ONE. Yet he has three for sale now. And, coincidentally, a "BU roll of 55-s red licoln cents" for sale on ebay currently. http://cgi.ebay.com/BU-ROLL-1955-S-...cmdZViewItemfrom Jojax's listing: UNFORTUNATELY EXCESSIVE EMAILS SLOW ME DOWN, SO AS A COURTESY TO EVERYONE, I WILL NOT RESPOND TO ANY EMAILS ABOUT SHIPPING UNTIL AFTER THAT 10 DAY PERIOD. Yeah, that's a real courtesy to one's customers, not responding to their emails. Especially since they concern " 1955-S MS-68 RED Lincoln Penny *COIN VALUED @ $13,500*" No, as a customer purchasing a coin that prior to GGC garding several, had ONE coin extant at that grade. And you state it's "valued" at $13,000, I escpecially appreciate that you won't answer my email regarding this precious coin for 10 days, as a courtesy to me, your customer. What a scam artist! Don
