I'm not trying to cause any trouble, but I'm confused about prices for classic gold coins.

I understand large numismatic premiums above melt value for certain coins. And I understand tiny premiums for common and circulated gold coins.

But I don't understand gold coins going for less than melt value. I was perusing bobby131313's store and there are nice-looking certified coins that seem to be destined to sell for less than their gold content.

Never having seen a greysheet, do these coins typically wholesale for less than melt? If so, why?

I tried to contact Bobby through this site, but I got a message that said I didn't have enough posts to email a memeber.
