About 25-30 years ago, I collected Canadian Tokens. I lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and due to dealer ignorance they were usually pretty inexpensive, although most of the ones I came across had issues with damage.

Bought this one for 50 cents. Saw it was in great shape; was thrilled to get it. Got it home and looked it up in the Charlton catalog, and the only one that matched it was LC-30F, which listed as "Very Rare". It is the only variety I could find that had a broken leaf below the UL in AGRICULTURE. Anyway, this is probably my favorite coin, and I have owned it for years!

THE ONLY PROBLEM? Now that I am a lot more knowledgeable, based on many aspects of it's appearance I am pretty confident that it is a counterfeit! But, still really love the coin/token!

It appears to have a line of solder or something like that around the entire edge of the token, that is a slightly different color than the token. It is thicker than any other Un Sou token that I have, and it seems to bulge out in the center. Has sort of a hollow ring to it, too! Any Canada token people with comments; I'd love to hear them!

Thanks for the link, Bargar!

Unfortunately the one pictured there is different from mine, but I am really not surprised by the lack of responses, due to the fact that it is such an specialized series to collect.
