picked this up from a shop he listed it BU I looked at it in hand w/ a 3x glass threw a flip

got it home and took these picks and it dont look too BU to me
and the slight yellow high light toneing makes me think this has been dipped

I agree with your assessment. It looks far too 'bright' to be natural, and not in the good lustrous way.

bummer the details are good on it. would it be considered AU50 cleaned? or EF because of no luster left

AU-58 or MS-60 cleaned, most likely. I don't see any obvious wear, but I don't know much about this series.

I'd try wrapping it in a Taco Bell napkin, putting it in an paper envelope and sitting it on a window sill for a few months.

And yes - it looks to be AU and cleaned.
