Alright, so I'm eventually going to buy some 2009 BU Lincoln Cents to find some high grade examples to send to NGC or PCGS.

What is the BEST way for me to do that?

Hello,
I think the cheapest way to do that would be to buy a high grade coin already graded by a top tier company. I have seen MS66-67 selling for $12-$20 graded by NGC. A bulk submission would atleast cost over $20 per coin, submitting a few coins you are looking at around $30 each just for submission.
Rest in Peace

I really don't think high grade modern coins will be a good investment. Just my opinion, that's all.

I too think that too many are made to make a sound investment. Maybe in 2209 they might be worth a couple bucks each. But if you would just like to have a certified example for collection purposes I see nothing wrong with spending $10 on one. I have made worse purchases along the way
