Just curious what you all thought about these notes.

worth sending off for grading?

Two notes.

first is a 1928 100$ note. Chicago 7

Two-Notes,-Send-For-Grading?-Or-Not-Bother.

Second is a 1957 silver certificate.

A- it is a silver certificate
B- It is a star note
C- it is a Gutterfold

None of those factors really get me worked up on their own, but when you put all three together I just love this note.

Think they are worthy of sending for grading? If so what do you think they would return as? I would like to hear opinions from the masses if they feel it is a waste of time or worthwhile. so I am on the fence and any input would help.

How much to grade a bill? I know coins run from $20 to $30.

Depends on several factors. Just like coinage but PCGS is something like 10-25 depending on the note in most cases.

No one has any other opinions if they should be sent in?

If I would send one, I would send the gutterfold. I guess each has its own merit...

The $100 note seems to have a tiny bottom left hand corner issue. If so, it is not goint to grade UNC. It will most likely grade AU 58. I would not bother.

The error star replacement note is really cool. I would have it third party graded if I were going to put it on ebay, but not if I was going to keep it or sell it in person.
