PCGS has nicer holders and better re-sale value.

Grading standards are a toss up for the series' I collect.

I like pcgs for their, holder and I feel like they give appropriate grades.

It depends what you are using them for. PCGS is better with US coins. NGC is better with world coins.

PCGS has stayed true to acurately grading coins. It seems like NGC has sold out over the past couple of years...giving out too many high grades...they may be getting more submissions but their reputation is suffering. Graded equally, PCGS coins will usually get more when sold...and I think the gap is widening.

Imo they both unfortunately have lowered their grading criteria..esp in modern coinage.
