I am teetering on this lot. But I have enough nickels, I should be selling myself. I just thought maybe it is a good deal, maybe somebody wants a shot at this. I DO NOT know the seller and can't see much detail, but I bite on deals like this and sometimes they turn out to be good ones. Just thought I'd share. [eBayItem]330344788940[/eBayItem] PS: Don't hollar at me if it's a dud. PS: LATE EDIT: I might bid in a half hour if they are still there. Remember, I have nothing to do with this guy, it looks like a good deal to me that's all. Edited by TNG 07/14/2009 9:31 pm

It's an okay lot. I don't think it is anything special, but it might be a deal. I paid 12USD for my 50-d in BU, 7USD for my Proof-like 44-P(not D, mind you) and 1USD for a 38(Possibly S?). that is 20USD right there.
I see it as this: if it is such a good lot, why is he selling it for so cheap?

Well, they have decent low feedback but none of the items they sold were coins. There are two war nicks in the lot, the luster shows on all but the 55D which is no big deal anyway. I was just saying, this is the sort of auction I sometimes get a little lucky on. 50 D's rarely sell for 10 bucks anymore. If I do buy this lot, I will show better images of the whole bunch.

I would've too. I absolutely love nickels. I have been collecting them for years and I'm only 18. No other coin is as interesting to me as a jefferson. I can't stand searching pennies, but I could search nickels till the cows come home. However, college is expensive and Baskin Robbins just doesn't pay too well. Alas.

This lot arrived today. A very nice 1950 D and 1938 and they are probably MS64 or MS65 The 1945 P is Choice AU The 1944 D is probably MS63 and the 1955 D is a 1953 D in XF45 or AU50 The seller gave me my moneys worth, but this was not exactly a steal. I don't mind having another 1950 D and I really like the 38. The war nicks put it easily over the price tag an I consider them freebees.

Your such an addict.
Funny when I see someone else do it....
"Hey look at that, its a decent Fugio. Hmm someone should snatch that, it is proably worth double what he has it listed for...."
Then three days later it is sitting on my desk and my wife just rolls her eyes.
edit: pardon my rudeness, Even if they are ALL doubles it looks like a good deal, and a good add to your collection. Nice grab.

I think you did fine, wheezydog. Congrats! I'm becoming a victim of 'somebody has to bid more than this'. Not just in coins. In a recent listing of Belleek china the seller described the lot as having nine pieces, then seven. I counted a dozen pieces in the pictures. The shipping was high at $35. I won the lot for $53.00 and got one dozen pieces of Belleek for $88 delivered. A heck of a deal, but it ate into my coin budget. It's all good.
