Tim, I also made it up to New Bern Yesterday. It was rather small and compact, but overall a good show. Rare Coins of Raleigh held the event and I thought they did a good job. I ended up buying a few things from them, including a Classic Head 1/2 cent and a Classic Head Quarter Eagle which I was really excited about. I think you did every well with the 1921 Peace for $13! . I would say it is worth over $100 easily. Congrats on the pick ups. BTW how did your wife like the notes?

I'm sorry Cownas22. I forgot to let you know that I got the notes. Yes she loved them very much, Thanks again! Especially the one with bear on it. I was at the show for about an hour, just long enough for me to dump off a few hundred 40% Halves and pick up what you see here. They are hosting a larger show next week in Rocky Mount at the Moose Lodge. That was the first show I went to and it was back in February of this year. I will not make it to the one next weekend . Would have loved to have spent more time at the one yesterday but had to get back home so we could leave for the beach at Topsail.

The 21 looks like it was cleaned but would probably still fetch ~100 dollars or thereabouts. Nice work!

As far as I can tell, there are a total of two coin shows yearly in western Colorado. So, people who have access to them are lucky from my point of view.

Wow! I thought the '35 was a good score at $13, the 1921 is amazing. I don't think I've ever seen silver dollars offered for less than $18 around here.
I've bought from Rare Coins of Raleigh whenever they've come to town... Good guy to deal with.
