I found this one in the Grandma Grandpa stash
I did a bit of research and I can figure that this one is pretty neat if not worth much.
Ok...Maybe worth a bit of conversation

Well, the 1945 dime has about $1 worth of silver in it, but otherwise it is pretty much sentimental value only.

This is a magic trick. I have one myself but mine shows tails. It goes in a red round box with green felt and the wheatie is copper plated steel so it sticks to a hidden magnet and hides under the top part, magically changing a penny, excuse me, cent into a dime.
I would value your portion at about 8 to 10 dollars as it is, without the box and yes, including any silver dime.

I posted on this before

Here's a short video showing a similar trick:

They must have put a thin layer of steel between the two pieces.

Actually I think it is a copper plated pressed shell and not a hollowed out actual Wheat cent. They look pretty good though don't they?

I didn't even try to pry them apart to see if it was a magic trick.
Still, not a bad conversation piece

There must be something sticking to the other side of the dime and shell or the rim of the shell is pinched. This is two pieces.
