Greetings! This was traded to me by a friend for a 1964 USA quarter, he also doesn't know what it is, but I liked the color and look of the flower, can you help & advise the coin's year date? and is it really chinese in origin? Thanks again!

ouch... you gave a silver quarter for that?

It's a 1967 Taiwanese 50c piece... This was from the last series. The current one now is copper plated and much smaller.
