Another thing that's interesting is a slight graininess to some of the devices...like the coin may have been struck with slightly rusted dies. Anyways, I agree that it may have been cleaned or altered at some point...possibly a very convincing recoloring job....I'm not quite sure. but likely something. The coin looks good, but the color is almost too even, and there really isn't any luster which I would expect there to be some at this grade. Report this Post to the Staff
