2004-P $1 Edison - Probably my favorite - His work has touched more people than Jesus. 2003-P $1 First Flight - What can I say. They deserved recognition! 2009-P $1 Louis Braile - WELL DONE! 2008-S 50C Bald Eagle - One of the top designs of all times! 1986-W $5 Statue Of Liberty - All time favorite gold coin!

I had not seen Dolly Madison until today on this thread, I will be adding her to my list. Yep, what a hottie. Have you ever seen model for St Gaudens $20.00 gold piece?

First try at posting photos. #1 is Sherman's Monument in NYC Central Park by St. Gaudens #2 is his model for the $20.00 gold piece, Sherman's Monument and other works. It is thought she was his lover also. Can not blame him!

Her name was Hettie Anderson. Sorry I left that out. A beautiful Afro-American.

I have to agree with Moe on the "worst" with the baby eaglets featured. That is just NOT a good looking reverse ! But that 2008 Proof Bald Eagle 1 oz. Silver is still one of the best IMHO ! LUV THAT COIN !.....

It takes all kinds; I love the baby eaglets. But my favorite commemorative is one with a ship. And it's the cheapest one listed yet:

Mine has to be the 2006 Benjamin Franklin Founding Father Silver Dollar. Ol'Ben would be proud.

Am I the only one that likes the good old fasioned Washington? Nice young portrait of George on the obverse, and a good job on Mt. Vernon on the other.
