I was wondering if anyone else is putting the whole set together of the unc & proof. I started two tears ago and I have almost got it complete. I'm only missing a few of the 1996 Olympic coins. I have the set housed in Dansco albums that I made up for it and it's really a striking collection. The beauty of this set is every coin is different when compared to a set of Franklin half dollars.

I am working on putting together a complete set of U.S. Proof modern commemoratives. I am still missing all of the 1996 Olympic coins. I am storing my set in there original boxes from the U.S Mint.

fyimo, and others.
Seeing most all the modern commemorative coins as a set must really look nice.

I have a few I bought from the mint of the years, but recently I have been buying more, some from a local dealer, and some on E bay. I do have two on the way, BU's Lewis and Clark and Edison. Right now I have 15.

One problem I have is, I bought some in sets that I don't want to break open. Like Lincoln C&C, Franklin C&C and Little Rock coin and metal.

To store them I bought a Lighthouse coin case. I really like this case. I put pictures of it in another post, but will put a couple here in case you didn't see it. To me, you are right they really do look great displayed right next to each other.

That is one great looking storage system and case and I think that's a great idea on storing your collection. I'm going to be 66 years old next month and I've been sticking coins in Dansco or other albums all my life and I will until I can't any more. That said, your way is certainly more versatile and better then albums and well my way will just have to do for me until I cash in my chips. That plus it would cost me way to much to make the switch to a new system.
