It depends on if you think silver will go higher or lower in the time you plan to keep the Eagles. I personally think it will go lower, so I'm waiting a bit then I might get some silver.

I want to get some 2010's before they get roughed up (through handling). I bought 2009's from a local dealer and forgot to look at the coins before paying. Some of them are scratched up. It makes me wonder who owned them before me.

I think so.......
But, if you intend on doing it on a real "investment" scale involving thousands of dollars....that's just "the gamble" that you take !
